Time to think

Posted on Updated on

It has been a while since my last blog entry and there have been a number of reasons for this.

The winter months are hear and the dark nights have provided me with an excuse not to get out on the bike. This, I know is not acceptable and I accept I have fallen foul of rule #5  on more than one occasion. Another reason is life has taken over a bit which happens and being honest saddens me a little but we have to earn a living. In my line of work the period of time between September and December is one of the busiest times of the year and I haven’t been as proactive as I would like with exercise, then add in that Christmas is on the way and yet again I need to employ rule #5! However come the new year I will be back in training mode.

Also life at the inthepeloton residence has taken its toll. In a very short time master inthepeloton has had his own sporting life accelerated.  His football skills have been developed with his club side at mini soccer level and his efforts here have caught the eye of others higher up the footballing pyramid. He was invited to a trail, which he was successful and after attendingthe club concerned development squad for three weeks he has been rewarded with an invitation to train with the next level up. This means that I am acting as a taxi, just a little earlier than I anticipated, but you have to do what you have to do to support your offspring. However well done son! You’ve certainly made your father proud.

Well that is me just touching base with the blog and a more detailed, festive entry will be the next thing to get my head around.
